Hannah Nockideneh is a junior at Arizona State University with a double major in Physics and Mathematics. She is originally from Wide Ruins, AZ. She is Miss Indigenous at ASU for 2023-2024. Her platform is promoting STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields for Indigenous students. She is active on campus with community outreach and participates as co-founding member, president, and vice president in multiple organizations at ASU: the Society of Physics Students, American Indian Science and Engineering Society, Association of Women in Physics, and the Committee for Miss and Mr. ASU Indigenous. Her personal goal is to become a particle physicist.

Traditional Navajo Rug Dress – Jacquard Knitwear.

This style of dresses have very deep meanings with our Diné Navajo People. They are inspired from our Diné Navajo Traditional Rug Dresses known as Bííl (pronounced as BEEL) in our Navajo Language. They are worn in celebration when a woman has accomplished a great feat or milestone in life such as a graduation or getting married. These dresses are also wonderful representations of our beautiful Diné Navajo Culture and may be worn for many different special occasions showcasing the beautiful designs and historical meaning of our people.

Made from 100% Merino Wool.
